Empowering Mrs. Kousalya with a Free EV Auto In a heartfelt gesture of support, the Rotary Club of Tiruchirapalli Phoenix offered a free Electric Vehicle (EV) Auto to Mrs. Kousalya. Mrs. Kousalya has been enduring immense hardships, caring for her blind parents and husband while struggling to make ends meet. Recognizing her perseverance and unwavering dedication to her family, our club took the initiative to provide her with this EV Auto, a step that we hope will bring her a sense of relief and empowerment. This gesture is more than just a gift; it’s a lifeline that will help her regain independence and provide for her family with dignity. We believe that small acts of kindness can make a world of difference, and we are committed to continuing our efforts to support those who face life’s challenges with courage and resilience. Supporting Students’ Dreams with Educational Assistance Education is the cornerstone of progress, and at the Rotary Club of Tiruchirapalli Phoenix, we are dedicated to ensuring that every deserving student has the opportunity to pursue their dreams. As part of this commitment, we recently extended financial assistance to two students, providing them with Rs. 60,000 each to support their TNPSC exam coaching expenses. These students have shown exceptional promise and dedication to their studies, and we believe that this assistance will enable them to achieve their goals and secure a brighter future. Empowering Minds: A Day of Hope at Asha Deepam School, Crawford, Trichy

As a proud member of Rotary Phoenix, Tiruchirapalli, today was a day filled with hope and inspiration as we visited Asha Deepam School for Intellectually Challenged as a part of our Rotary Social Services. Our mission was clear – to make a positive impact on the lives of these incredible children who face unique challenges with determination and resilience. We were privileged to organize Acupuncture and Acupressure therapy sessions for the children, thanks to the unwavering support of Dr. Mrs. Lakshmi Nandakumar, a dedicated practitioner with 30 years of experience in Psychology Counselling. The enthusiasm of Correspondent Sister Blench and Head Mistress Ms Roselin, along with their team of teachers from Psychology backgrounds, was palpable as they welcomed us. The students at Asha Deepam hail from economically underprivileged families and the school predominantly relies on donors support, making our initiative all the more vital. We are confident that with the support of Corporates and kind-hearted individuals, we can provide these children the opportunities they deserve. Dr. Mrs. Lakshmi Nandakumar’s conviction in the effectiveness of continuous therapy sessions, particularly with Acupuncture techniques, gives us hope that the children’s condition can improve significantly, offering them upto 50% increased normalcy. We appeal to all Corporates to consider Asha Deepam School for their CSR funds (Corporate Social Responsibility) and kind-hearted individuals to donate generously. Together, we can empower these children to overcome their intellectual challenges and lead fulfilling lives, just like their peers.
